The only things in life that you
regret are the risks you did not take. My watch stopped at 1:38 pm, and I still
have that watch and check it from time to time just to see because twenty years
ago today, after a fall, I died. Then there were the three years of physical
therapy, addiction, post-traumatic stress, depression and 24 operations over 17
years. However, none of it proved permanently fatal, and now I know that life
is about experiences. A march to the common drumbeat will eventually reach a
place of profound disappointment. So, say hello to someone you do not know,
bend down and smell a flower, marvel at a sunrise, a sunset, listen to children
laughing and let yourself laugh because risks are easier than regrets.
Excellent!
